This session will explore the new and not so new issues of transgender Jews, and how we can be more welcoming.

Sandra Kviat was born and bred in Copenhagen, and has spent the past ten years in England. She is the rabbi of Crouch End Chavurah, a vibrant liberal congregation in north London, and is also a member of Liberal Judaism’s Outreach Team, specialising in education. Sandra is Scandinavia’s first female Rabbi and the first progressive Danish rabbi.
Sandra lives a down to earth progressive Jewish family life, and is committed to social justice for everyone. Is most likely to be found teaching and discussing Judaism, or enjoying the outdoors.
