"Praying with our feet" – Jews and the refugee crisis.

"Praying with our feet" is the much-quoted phrase by Rabbi Abraham Joshua Heschel who was describing his march with Martin Luther King.
We’ll consider our Jewish textual heritage to see whether we have a sacred duty to act on this issue. We’ll also examine the British Jewish community’s response to the current refugee crisis.

Robyn is a student rabbi at Leo Baeck College. She studied at Newnham College, Cambridge for a degree in Theology & Religious Studies. After graduating Robyn worked as a solicitor at a human rights firm in London.
Robyn is a passionate social justice activist and a co-founder of a newly formed group, Tzelem: the Rabbinic Call for Social and Economic Justice in the UK.
